Cancel or Reactivate
SpotPatrol makes it simple to manage your service without any complicated cancellation processes or unexpected charges. You can control all your notifications with just a single click.
No Cancellation Required
There's no need to formally "cancel" your SpotPatrol service. Since we don't auto-renew, your service will naturally expire at the end of your subscription period, and monitoring will automatically stop.
If you want to stop receiving appointment notifications before your service expires, simply use the "Stop All Notices" button on your dashboard for instant one-click control, or individually disable specific notification types (email, SMS, browser, or push notifications). This gives you complete control over when you want to pause monitoring without losing any remaining service time.
Stopping Notifications
To stop receiving appointment alerts, you have two options:
Stop All Notifications (One Click) The simplest way is to click "Stop All Notices" at the bottom of your notification settings. This instantly disables all alerts with a single click.
You can also pause specific notification types:
- Email notifications
- SMS text messages
- Browser notifications
- Push notifications (by uninstalling the app from your device or machine)
Your service remains active when notifications are stopped, but you won't receive any appointment alerts. You can re-enable any notification type anytime before your service expires.
When Service Expires
Once your service period ends, all monitoring automatically stops. Your account remains accessible so you can view your notification history, but no new appointment checking occurs. You won't be charged anything additional.
Reactivating Service
To start monitoring again after your service expires, simply purchase a new service period from your dashboard. Your previous location selections and preferences are saved, so you can pick up right where you left off.
If you reactivate within 30 days of your previous expiration, you'll get discounted renewal pricing on additional months of standard service.
Found Your Appointment?
If you've successfully booked your Global Entry appointment, you can mark it as found in your dashboard. Your service will remain active through the end of your service term. But you can always Stop All Notices to prevent future alerts.
The simple approach means you're always in control of your SpotPatrol experience without worrying about recurring charges or complex cancellation procedures.
