Understanding Notifications

SpotPatrol can notify you through several different methods when appointments become available. You can manage all of your contact methods from the Dashboard. You can turn any of these on or off using the toggles or Activate/Pause buttons on your dashboard.

Notification Methods

Multiple Contact Methods

SpotPatrol offers multiple notification methods so you can mix and match the best combination for your lifestyle.

Email - Works for everyone and includes all the appointment details you need. You'll get an email with available times and a direct booking link. Learn more about email setup.

SMS/Text - Get instant text alerts on your phone. This requires Standard service and only works with US phone numbers. Learn more about SMS setup.

Browser - Notifications that appear on your screen while you have the SpotPatrol tab open and active. You'll need to stay on the SpotPatrol page to receive these. Learn more about browser notifications.

Installed App - When you install SpotPatrol as an app, you get native notifications on your device that work even when your browser is closed. This gives the most reliable experience. Learn more about app installation.

Managing Your Notifications
