Successfully booked your appointment? Here's how to update your SpotPatrol account and manage notifications.
Marking Your Appointment as Found
- Go to your SpotPatrol Dashboard
- Scroll to the Notification Methods card footer
- Click "Successfully Booked Appointment?"
- Your status changes to "Appointment Booked - Congratulations"
Managing Notifications After Booking
Stop All Notifications (Recommended)
Click the "Stop All Notices" button in the footer to immediately pause all notifications. A header will show "Notifications Disabled" with an option to re-enable.
Continue Monitoring
Many users keep monitoring active to find:
- Earlier appointment times
- Better locations
- More convenient dates
Selective Control
Use individual toggles in the Notification Methods section to pause only email, SMS, or browser notifications as needed. Learn more about managing notification methods.
Reactivating Monitoring
- Click "Keep Looking" in the footer to resume monitoring
- Click "Enable Notifications" in the header if you used "Stop All"
- All your preferences (locations, dates, times) remain unchanged
Best Practices
Help the Community
After Booking:
- Cancel any backup appointments you won't use
- Use "Stop All Notices" if you're satisfied with your appointment
- Continue monitoring if you want an earlier time or better location
For the Community:
- Cancel unused backup appointments promptly
- Don't hold multiple appointments you won't use
