Get notified by email when appointments open up at your monitored locations. We'll send you all the details you need to book quickly.
Adding / Changing Your Email Address
Head to your Profile page or click the Edit link in the Notification Methods section on the Dashboard. After entering a new email address, we'll send you a verification code from noreply@spotpatrol.com - just enter that 6-digit code to confirm your email and you're all set.
Can't find the verification email? Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing after 5 minutes, click Resend Code on your profile page.
Managing Your Email Notifications
Want to pause emails temporarily? Go to Notification Methods on your dashboard and toggle the switch next to your email or use the Pause / Activate buttons. You can turn them back on anytime.
Your email status shows you what's happening:
- Active (green) - You're all set and getting notifications
- Paused (yellow) - Your email is verified but notifications are turned off
- Pending Verification (orange) - You need to verify your email with the code we sent
Trial vs Standard Service
Both trial and standard users have the option to be notified via email. There are timing and content differences between trial and standard emails. For more information, refer to this service comparison article.
Not Getting Emails?
Here are some things to try:
Check the basics first - Make sure your email is verified (look for that green "Active" status) and that notifications are turned on in your dashboard.
Look in your spam folder - Sometimes appointment alerts end up there. If you find them, mark them as "Not Spam" so future emails come to your inbox.
Add us to your contacts - Save noreply@spotpatrol.com to your address book to help emails reach your inbox.
